Miso Farro

This lovely farro brings an incredible umami flavor that makes for a perfect grain in glory bowls, chilled and added to a salad, or as a side for an Japanese inspired dinner. Leftovers are excellent either cold or reheated.

This miso farro is a perfect grain for glory bowls. Healthy, warm, and that perfectly savory umami flavor!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In an instant pot add rinsed farro and water.
  2. Set to high pressure and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Once cooking is finished, let sit for 5 minutes then manual release pressure.
  4. There should still be water left in the instant pot.
  5. Mix in miso paste and stir until dissolved.
  6. Serve either with the broth or use a slotted spoon to drain off excess water.
