  1. Carefully slice the onions to your desired thickness. I prefer very thin so I typically use a mandolin on the thinnest setting
  2. Place sliced onions into mason jar, lightly breaking them apart. Fill the mason jar leaving about an inch to the top of free space
  3. Add equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water (a 1:.5 ratio).
  4. Add maple syrup
  5. Tighten lid on the mason jar and give it a good shake
  6. Place in fridge for 30 minutes before consuming
