what you did in your 20’s isn’t working out anymore?
Pants a little tighter?
Brain a little foggier?
Energy a little slower?
Athletic performance a little sluggish (or maybe even non-existent)?
Haven’t accomplished that fitness goal that is lingering in the back of your mind?
Hello, I’m Jaclyn
As a health + wellness coach I help you gain back energy, achieve your athletic goals, erase brain fog, and drop unwanted weight that has added up over the years.
So...what you did in your 20’s has finally crept up to you...in a big way. Maybe for good reasons you have prioritized starting a family, focused on a successful career, or maintained a social life...but it has come at a cost.
Does this sound like the things you have tried?
The latest fad diet? ALLLL of them.
Newest exercise craze? DONE and over it.
The cleanses? Check. The detoxes? Double check.
The trainer? Cha ching.
The supplements? Yep, I have a cabinet full.
The coffee? Isn’t that how we all survive…
Splurging on a new lulu outfit to help motivate you? Obviously.
Or, just stopping everything all together? Yessss
And more so, you don’t know which guru to believe anymore. You’re confused on what else to try or, maybe, you don’t even know where to start. Likely because you don’t have the TIME or ENERGY to sift through what the optimal diet is. After all, you have other important things to keep up with like a career, a family, and something of a social life.
Let me tell you, I have been there.
I never thought my 30’s would hit me like it hit all my other friends. I was naive about my own health. In my 20’s I was able to have my green smoothie + my bag of chips (don’t they just cancel one another out? Spoiler alert: no). I thought I ate “healthy” (really, it was whatever new fad diet was “in-style”), but more so, I was able to exercise off the poor diet choices I did make... until I couldn’t.
I worked my butt off in my career, maintained a social life, invested in meaningful relationships, traveled, and lived my best life all while doing this, that, and the other, including working out. In my 20’s I did it all, and it came at a cost. Little did I know, it would catch up to me in a BIG way.
I know how hard it can be.
It was after giving birth to our first child that it really hit me. I convinced myself that I had good energy (my standard of “good energy” significantly dropped to a new “mom” baseline, isn’t that normal?). I struggled with being spacey, forgetful, and foggy minded. BUT wasn’t that just “mom brain”? Or, was it actually brain fog? GASP! And don’t even get me started on my hormones...hello mood swings. I was at a breaking point of trying to balance it all: family, friends, career, mental & physical health, and trying to be present.
But this is not normal! Don’t let anyone tell you that you have to deal with these things as you get older. Because guess what? YOU DON”T!
I knew the one thing that made me a better wife and mom each day was having an awesome workout. And now, I was even sucking at that! My energy plummeted, my drive to get outside went down, and when I finally pulled myself together (and found the time!) I felt sluggish and I sucked at whatever I was doing. Something had to give. I knew I shouldn’t have to feel this way for the rest of my life. Why couldn’t I do all these things as easily as I could when I was in my 20’s?
Then it hit me.
Maybe I wasn’t eating as well as I thought I was. Was I convincing myself I had energy when the reality was quite the opposite? Was that really just “mom brain” or was it actually brain fog? Was I really eating to promote vitality + health? Were my diet + lifestyle choices inline with my goals? Was I eating to perform? Was I actually showing up for my family and being the best version of myself? Where my habits I established in my 20’s actually killing me?
After actually taking a step back, and digging deep, I realized I was full of excuses for my own health!
I realized, I had so many things going on:
unwanted weight gain that I thought was just “part of being a mom”
brain fog that I thought was part of having a career
tiredness and general feeling of blah that I thought was part of getting older
perception that I lacked time to achieve my goals
poor performance during my athletic training
Sure, I could push through it…
But deep down I knew there had to be a better, more sustainable solution
a better solution.
So I analyzed my diet and lifestyle choices and realized they needed a massive change. I challenged myself, and made a very well studied decision to go whole food plant-based....the ONE diet I had never tried. My life was completely transformed, which trickled down to my family. The best part: it was as easy as eating real whole foods! Meals were satisfying, fulfilling, and delicious; I never ever felt hungry or in a debilitating “food coma”. The added bonus: It was way cheaper to eat this way!
Brain fog: cleared within days!
Energy: skyrocketed, I felt like a superhuman (and still do!)
Inflammation melted away. My jeans fit again, my face was less puffy.
I had muscle definition for the first time in my life! (something I desired and worked my butt off in the gym for)
At age 34 I performed better, and recovered faster than I ever had in my entire life! I rode my bike further, harder, and on more challenging terrain. I even shocked my husband (and he is a elite mountain biker)
Most importantly, my attitude and perspective shifted. I was happy, clear minded, excited, and just stoked on life! I became a better person, mom, wife, and friend.
I am able to show up as my best self for the people and things that depend on me the most!
One of the biggest game changers for me.
No. More. Portion. Control!
This was huge for me. Ask my husband...he will tell you that I eat as much, if not more, than him. THE GIRL CAN EAT. And you should too! I have always had a big appetite, but for the first time I didn’t have to measure my food, count calories, fit foods into daily macros, or have emotional food guilt. I was free to eat as much as I wanted because I learned to listen to my body. I learned to fuel my body with the most nutrient-dense foods that promote vitality, performance, and longevity. This is achieved through a whole food plant-based diet!
an emphasis on plants
I use a holistic whole food plant-based approach to diet + lifestyle. What exactly does that mean? It means that I encourage my clients to add more whole grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, and nuts + seeds to their diet. While I know not everyone is ready, or willing, to completely switch to a 100% whole food plant-based diet, movement in that direction proves to be the most healthful and yields the greatest results. I meet you where you are, and we make moves together. Wherever you are I work with you to make sustainable changes towards a more plant-predominant diet.

A little more about me:
I traveled the world as a private flight attendant, which sparked my love + passion for cooking. I cooked for high level executives, celebrities, and royalty. BUT, I don’t want you spending all day in the kitchen cooking some obscure plant-based meal. I teach you tips and tricks to limit your time in the kitchen, while creating delicious and healthy meals. Eating well + getting back your time = win win.
I have a true love for ALL things outdoors but I’m as average as average can be: mountain bike addict, snowboard enthusiast, surfer, climber, hiker, and trail runner. But you won’t find me winning any races anytime soon, in fact I’ve never won a race! I’m your average joe, and I’m perfectly fine with that!
I absolutely love dark chocolate...so you have my promise now, I won’t make you give up your dark chocolate addiction either!
